Nexcare Tegaderm +Pad Transparent Dressing Application and Removal

Step 1

Prior to applying, clean and dry wound and surrounding skin thoroughly. Peel away the printed liner from the paper-framed dressing, exposing the adhesive surface.

Step 2

Apply dressing over wound. Do not stretch dressing when applying.

Step 3

Remove the paper frame from the dressing while smoothing down the edges.

Removal

Grab edge of dressing and slowly stretch straight out and down while supporting the skin.

If it’s waterproof, how is it breathable?

Our Nexcare Tegaderm Dressings are made with a thin waterproof film comprised of microscopic holes. These microscopic holes are too small for liquid water droplets to pass through, but still allow oxygen in and water vapor out, therefore keeping your wound dry while also allowing it to breathe.
