Padded Strap Shoulder Immobilizer
The Ossur Padded Strap Shoulder Immobilizer offers immobilization and support of the shoulder.
The device is intended to immobilize the shoulder and/ or elbow Indications for use.
Unfasten the shoulder strap and open the front panel of the device.
Place the forearm into the device at a 90° angle, seating the elbow snugly in the corner pocket.
Place the thumb through the thumb loop.
Place the shoulder strap around the neck over the opposite shoulder and fasten it to the device via the D-ring. Adjust the strap length for proper fit.
Apply the waist strap to the device, pull the strap around the back and feed it through

INDICATIONS FOR USE
- For shoulder conditions that may benefit from immobilizing the shoulder, such as:
- Pre or post-operative
- Soft tissue repairs/strains
- Shoulder instabilities/injuries

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Place patient’s arm inside sling.
Enclose hand in sling and place thumb in thumb holder.
Place strap around neck and secure through buckle.
Adjust both ends of shoulder strap for comfortable fit.
Apply waist strap to brace. Adjust both ends of waist strap.
This will keep the sling from rotating.
CARE:
Hand wash using mild soap. Rinse thoroughly. Air dry only. Do not tumble dry.
WARNING:
This device will not prevent or eliminate risk of injury. Do Not Over-tighten. If swelling, pain, skin irritation, or an unusual reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult your medical professional.
